Simin Tander's expressive voice shifts between song and spoken word, intimate proximity and powerful presence. Jens Düppe combines drums, piano, and electronics into a dynamic, multi-layered sonic body.
Voice, rhythm, and electronics meet at eye level. Vocals and speech, percussive impulses and electronic textures intertwine to form a musical dialogue.
A distinct duo shaped by contrasts: hypnotic and grooving, minimalist and colorful, poetic and surprising.

The drummer, composer, and bandleader received the WDR Jazz Prize in 2019. His album Dancing Beauty was nominated for the ECHO Jazz in 2018. He continuously develops new projects at the intersection of composition, improvisation, and sound research.

The German-Afghan singer and composer is one of the most distinctive voices on the European jazz and crossover scene.
For her ECM album with Tord Gustavsen, she received the German Record Critics' Award (Jahrespreis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik). In 2024, she was nominated for the German Jazz Prize in the vocals category.
